Feel bad for Winry's parents. That sucks. Anyways that brother of Scar's seems to actually have been making quite a bit of progress. Also, what happened to the crimson alchemist after the war? Wonder if he thrown away for knowing too many secrets (since they gave him the philosopher stone) or perhaps dies ... Somehow get the feeling he is no longer alive.

Love these chapters but it's pretty intense and horrific, huge shift in tone.

Loved the scene where Iron Blood shot his superior. But the war chapters have an underlying tone of sadness and tragedy including the slaughter of the Ishvalans. We know the Rockbells will be killed by a frenzied Scar and he'll set himself on a path which would lead him to kill many including Mr.Iron Alchemist, Hughes would be murdered...

These few chapters are one of the best and one of the saddest chapters in FMA till now, as they not only tell us the origins and back stories of a lot of cast members but also show us the moral conflicts that most Amestrian soldiers went through during the annihilation and that they weren't in the fault either.

Iron Blood's a boss. This war story's pretty depressing though...
