Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 10 Discussion

Oh yeah, Maria Ross is one of the few women I can think of (real or fictional) who can rock short hair.

Cool points for Al for encouraging Sheska. She's insecure, but she doesn't take it out on anyone, and has a good heart. She loves books, but she wants to pay her sick mother's hospital bills. I'm glad things are looking up for her

Damn imagine having such a good memory, wow! Gluttony and Scar are fighting!

So in order to make a Philoshopher stone you need a living human being.... Interesting!

Wow, they're pretty much the definition of unlucky in this chapter. XD

Quiet chapter but the revelation at the end is worth the wait. Seems like Marcoh and the military did some nasty stuff back then...

Sheska has a pretty unique gift. And Hughes, that old kidnapper :)

I wonder, if human sacrifice is what it takes to make the Philosopher stone, couldn't they just sacrifice the person then bring them back using the newly created stone?

Since alchemy is all about equivalent exchange, I assume that in the best possible case, you could ressurect exactly the amount of people that you sacrificed before the stone's power vanishes. But more likely those you resurrect are not the same anymore, so it's a bad trade...

Oh, and one more thought. Envy and Lust were talking about Ed as a precious sacrifice. So maybe they are trying to create an enhanced version of the stone. Watch out, Ed!

First the library burns down, then they find out the philosopher stone is made out of humans... Ed and Al are sure lucky!

Don't know what you guys mean by lucky, the library burns down and very conveniently there exists this character that can literally word for word remember and recite anything and everything that was destroyed in the library.

I think Gluttony may be having a hard time pulling himself together. I don't think he could take down Scar without an epic battle, and their fight has only gotten one panel, so far, and it shows neither of them.

Poor Edward and Alphonse. All that time and effort, for nothing.
