I can't express how much I love that the muscular guy who was introduced through dominating a Lion in some seated grapple hold turns out to have more intelligence than initially suspected. Maybe I just forgot something from an earlier chapter, but this is the first time I really recall the series highlighting his logic, while underlining his potential shortcoming of impulsive decisions. I also like that we're starting to get more insight into the other princes/princesses participating in the succession war. It's a bit of a shame that it has to more or less start for more than a small handful to get any development (Tserriednich, Benjamin, Halkenburg, and I guess Woble though he's just a baby, are the only ones I remember getting any substantial information on prior to boarding the Black Whale) but Kurapika's method have stalled the events enough to allow us a greater idea of the participants involved. Camilla is the easiest of them to dislike, her twisted brat-like mentality is interesting though, and I think it's showing another possible outcome from being raised in such a high position. Halkenburg is like the best case scenario, a humanist who seeks to better the world through pacifistic regime change while Camilla is self-entitled and believes that the whims of people should bend to her benefit and whims. Benjamin appears to be a loyalist who is utmost dedicated to keeping the valued lineage. To be fair though, Tserriednich is an absolute monster, which is certainly possible for people in power, especially if it's an environment that may foster a belief superiority, and the whole body part collection thing is certainly indulged by his means. I'm not actually certain whether or not Togashi planning on making any ruminations on this or if he's just going out of his way to deliver distinct personalities to each of the princes/princesses to make it a little more digestible, it's certainly worth noting that Halkenburg and Camilla, the two that both seek massive change, have the same mother, while Benjamin and Tserrriednich, arguably still the two most prominent figures of the princes, share the same mother. We also got some insight into Zhang this week and Tubeppa had some last chapter I believe (or two chapters ago), so I'm hopeful at least a few more will fill in (even though those two don't really share any connection that ties into my speculation earlier).
Anyway, despite all this, I did have to look up the names of pretty much everyone sans Benjamin, Halkenburg and Camilla, as well as who was related to who in terms of parentage. I only had to look up Tserriednich because I can't spell it properly without a guide. It''s hard to gauge whether this is solely due to faulty memory brought on by the hiatus, or if it's just the method Togashi choose to introduce them was the most memorable. He's correcting it now, and I will say the distinctive designs of the Nen beasts certainly do help establish a connection to their host, it's going to be hard to forgot Camilla now with her weird boob flower thing following her around.
