He's using it to threaten the guards with no nen and make sure they won't lie. It would have been stupid for Kurapika to threaten them using nen when the guards supposedly don't even know what it is.Yes, I didn't say is stupid. Says who......??I don't know, this is like the second time guns are used (first yorknew city?) and the few times we've seen people use guns they were useless.

Ponzu? Chimera Ants? Kurapika dodging bullets?Ah right Ponzu, forgot about her. Kurapika did use his chains to even block bullets if I remember correctly. Apart for Ponzu, I think guns never had significant impact.





Perspective. In HxH, power isn't absolute.



Bazooka - Uvogin unscathed

Smaller bomb - Hisoka gets obliterated regardless of his nen cover. One of the best fighters, can't easily block off explosions like Uvogin.



So yeah, Uvogin is a special case for tanking things. Otherwise Guns and modern weaponry have a very significant impact.



Remember the Troupe almost shit their pants when Pakunoda pointed the gun at them.

Okay so Togashi has officially done 10 chapters without any sign of a hiatus...I'm both proud and terrified rn. Artwork is looking pretty much top notch as well- those double page spreads look awesome, just hope Togashi isn't doing a number on himself again srsly thinking he was drawing up a shit ton of HQ material during his hiatus & no one can convince me otherwise



That aside, things are looking a little crazy already- they've literally just set sail and the body count is already sitting at 5. Wonder whose nen ability it is though...perhaps the nen beast of one of the Kakin Princes? I dunno why, but I thought it could be either Fuu, Woble or Benjamin...or maybe it's someone completely unrelated!!



Either way, I'm liking where this is going, & I'm hoping the Phantom Troupe start wreaking havoc soon...y'know, if they've not already started that is...

If this pace is keeping up , Maybe this Arc need something like 300 chapters?

If the baby is the culprit then his stand really is dangerous, reminds me a bit of Death 13 from JoJo.
