I would 6/5 this if I could 👌😍

Loved the waves of puppets trying to reach Hiso, and him just bungee anywhere... UPSIDE-DOWN lol with his only leg and then, MASSIVE EXPLOSIONS coming in from left to right lmao. Impressive action BUT I would have liked more frames for movements so it can flow better...

This is my favorite fight in all of the hxh manga so far so like others have said, I'm looking forward to see it animated someday somehow rofl

Wow, what a chapter! Hisoka lost a leg now too and has come to think that he's gonna die. Wonder what the outcome will be in the next chapter, after all these puppets came running toward him and exploding.

4 more chapters and Hunter x Hunter will get a volume 34! O: Assuming that there's no hiatus in the near future.

Also, 4 more chapters and this arc will be longer than the Heavens Arena arc. 5 more chapters and it'll be longer than the Election arc.

Damn it Hisoka. Get a grip! You cannot lose to this coward.

Fighting with a strategy is cowardice? It's Hisoka's fault for giving a known pragmatist prep time and fighting him in a crowded stadium lmfao

I guess I'm a bit of a sore loser.

Well there's still hope. It's Hunter x Hunter after all.

I know how you feel, buddy(sorry I just have to call you that)

I am a sour loser too. I am kind of BIASED when it has gotten to do with Hisoka. But trust me, he'll survive somehow. I have this huge gut feeling that he lives(my statement is so unreliable, I know hahahah)

Here's my guess about how this fight would turn out:

I think Hisoka would manage to escape from the explosion but is severely wounded in the process. I know this sounds stupid but maybe he could have used his bungee gum to contract some puppets around him as a protection(which I doubt it) but maybe he could figure something out and also he would manage to leave a fake corpse or fake head of his using his texture surprise or whatever other ability he has up his sleeves on one of Chrollo's puppets(I don't know how he'd do it but maybe he could pull the trick) and then he'll exit from the battle and leaving Chrollo the declared winner. Then like me, he'll be a sour loser and will learn from this experience---this one sided battle---that he better not underestimate his opponent and knowing Chrollo, he should rather surprise him than complying all Chrollo's conditions only so they could fight. Then the second battle begins xD

And superhumans out-running an explosion blast is hardly a "seemingly unsolvable problem" in this context. Shoot and Knuckle did that a dozen times during their fight against Youpi. They are hypersonic, even if not invincible. This means that while the explosions are still a scary thing, doesn't mean they're unescapable.

There are always liberties taken with the art to create the illusion of close calls. (For example, I have no problem with Hisoka dodging the exploding ref in the first chapter of this fight.)

But I draw the line at things the characters themselves say. If Hisoka says, "I can't fall to the floor or the puppets will blow me up", and then he falls to the floor, and then he says, "I'm going to die", then I expect him to die. Either Togashi is making him lie to the readers (which would be a cheesy gimmick to heighten the suspense; no way Togashi would do that), or Hisoka really does believe that his abilities are inadequate to save himself (in which case he will either die or be saved via deus ex machina).

Damn, this fight really dragging. Hisoka taking a loss at his leg as well...

Dragging? Really? C'mon now. It's only been like 3-4 chapters. That hardly qualifies as "dragging."

Different perspectives, not many people are able to keep up with the powers, so they're reading through something alien. I can understand them being overwhelmed.

This is why you go back and reread chapters.

No time, and it might not help them. I mean I'm pretty sure many here have no idea what happened during the DC build-up and decided to skip it altogether, may not be surprised if they did the same with this fight.

then they have no rights to complain

They do. Each fan has his own expectation of the fight, and some don't like how this fight being psychological or bizarre and prefer a more direct face-to-face brawl.

face to face would be too incoherent, Chrollo would get destroyed

it seems to be over, next chapter will be the conclusion

i was rooting for Chrollo even though Hisoka was one of my favorite characters Chrollo just showing hes a methodical and systematic stone cold killer through and through

i really thought Hisoka would be floating around until the end of the series, i mean he could live but i just cant see anyway out

Didn't see that coming!

Can't wait to see what Hisoka will do. Not sure if he will die. I believe Togashi won't kill any of them, at least for now.

Chrollo is really controlling the match. Hisoka could probably show us something that we've never seen, if he wants to have a chance.
