Well, context is important here. Gon did after all beat Pitou with an extremely dangerous, I would assume one time only powerup that nearly killed him. Normal Gon, whenever he gets his Nen back, still couldn't beat Hisoka. Either way, I just don't see this match reaching a conclusion.

We would probably get the answer soon on why kurapika didn't react to Chrollo getting his Nen back. I just think he has bigger things on his plate going to another world to get his clans eyes from the prince

But I really hope there's a Phantom Troupe Arc After all this

Chrollo is still relevant to the story as the leader of the troupe. We have the surviving ants gathering at Meteor city, I'm positive that we will an arc in there at some point. Kurapika beef with the troupe is still not over, he wanted to look for them but Gon and Killua convinced him that they left York New. Troupe themselves are looking for him. Chrollo will definitely not die here.



Either the fight will be interrupted again or Hisoka will die here. How ironic will it be that he dies where he killed so many.

The buildup has been brewing in the background throughout the last few arcs; we all knew Hisoka was getting close to Chrollo. This was meant to be a surprise reveal, and I think it was more effective because of it. I personally never figured Hisoka would actually get to this point with Chrollo, but I welcome it with open arms.



Well there is evidence to support you claim but I sure hope you're wrong and this is all Hisoka's wet dreams. Chrollo finally broke the judgment chain and all we get from Kurapika is "oh he's in a bad mood" gtfo.

Then why didn't he use the bookmark against the Zoldycks? was he underestimating 2 of the strongest opponents? has he just now figured out that he can use a bookmark to have his hands free?

This is also the first I'm seeing Hisoka in manga form,  he looks like a shitty JOJo character, absolutely disgusting! Also neither Hisoka nor chrollo will die in this battle,  not because it's a battle to the death means it's going to actually happen, the battle will be interrupted or something.



If Togashi really kill off any of these two characters in this petty fight, then it simple means I overestimated him as a writer. This would be straight up bad writing if that's the case.

I fail to see how any of last chapter's dialogue was unnecessary, unless you're referring to some of the character bits earlier in the chapter. All of that expository info seemed more or less necessary to the plot going forward, so I don't think conciseness was an issue.



As for this chapter, while this fight might be petty to most, it's pretty much Hisoka's raison d'etre, which certainly doesn't make it petty for the purposes of the plot. I can understand people being jarred by the abruptness, but I have faith in Togashi's decision in deciding to kill off either of these fan favorites.

Majority of Killua inner monologue was really unnecessary, and that took up more than half the chapter. Really this is one of the main problem I had with hxh 2011 anime.  Specifically in the chimera ant arc,  where the narrator was there to explain every tiny details to the audience, it's very annoying, I would rather he show than tell,  this is a visual medium for christ sake! That shit is only necessary in novels. Like seriously the audience is not dumb.



I'm 100% sure he will not kill either in this fight,  at least I hope,  I think this is more of,  hey guys here's the fight you've been looking forward to,  also both of these characters story line hasn't even been touch on much from my memories. This would be a waste imo.

I became the bone of my sword, actually read the chapter twice to make sure I wasn't dreaming.



Anyway, Chrollo looks pretty fucking OP now with his new abilities. If one of them actually does die in Hype Arena my bet is on Hisoka. I don't think Togashi would've revealed his full name otherwise, it would also be quite anticlimatic if Kurapika's main antagonist died like that.



I still don't see either of them dying though, wouldn't surprise me if an outside factor interrupted the fight. HxH is back in full force that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure nobody forgot the things in yorknew, it's pretty hard to forget that, break or not. They weren't really small details either. We are referring to build up to them heading to the fight itself, the previous chapter was just exposition about the new arc, so this came out of nowhere, hence the no build up complaints.

Who knew that Chrollo was a Floor Master!! Makes sense given his strength. I'd argue Chrollo and Hisoka are probably stronger than all the other Floor Masters though lol

Anyway, the chapter was fantastic, I personally prefer it the way Togashi did it. If he explains it after a few chapters or if he ever does, kewl. If he doesn't, we've had enough hints already so I'm not really complaining about Chrollo coming back. But a small 2-3 chapters of flashback of how it all happened would be much appreciated, it's still cool though.



If it was any other Manga, the name Death Battle wouldn't scare me.... But Togashi and HxH.... My kokoro is not ready ;-; but let's hope for the best!
