I actually thought Hisoka was dreaming. wtf was the buildup? so Hisoka found a nen-exorcist for Kuroro and then they agreed to fight each-other at the Heavens Arena
The buildup has been brewing in the background throughout the last few arcs; we all knew Hisoka was getting close to Chrollo. This was meant to be a surprise reveal, and I think it was more effective because of it. I personally never figured Hisoka would actually get to this point with Chrollo, but I welcome it with open arms.
Well there is evidence to support you claim but I sure hope you're wrong and this is all Hisoka's wet dreams. Chrollo finally broke the judgment chain and all we get from Kurapika is "oh he's in a bad mood" gtfo.

That's not bullshit. Chrollo has more "some new bothersome limitations to deal with"
Did you forget that kurapika has modified one of his own abilities during York New Arc.
Togashi will explain it all, but later.
will someone die? the result of this deadmatch it might be "HXH Shocking moment"
Then why didn't he use the bookmark against the Zoldycks? was he underestimating 2 of the strongest opponents? has he just now figured out that he can use a bookmark to have his hands free?
@Drake1000 Chrollo did not want to killl Zodiacs.

I'm on the fence with this chapter. On one hand I'm glad we didn't get the ridiculous amount of unnecessary dialogue we got last chapter, but on the otherhand, this shit came out of nowhere no build up whatsoever. Still hype for this battle nonetheless.
This is also the first I'm seeing Hisoka in manga form, he looks like a shitty JOJo character, absolutely disgusting! Also neither Hisoka nor chrollo will die in this battle, not because it's a battle to the death means it's going to actually happen, the battle will be interrupted or something.
If Togashi really kill off any of these two characters in this petty fight, then it simple means I overestimated him as a writer. This would be straight up bad writing if that's the case.
3.5/5
I fail to see how any of last chapter's dialogue was unnecessary, unless you're referring to some of the character bits earlier in the chapter. All of that expository info seemed more or less necessary to the plot going forward, so I don't think conciseness was an issue.
As for this chapter, while this fight might be petty to most, it's pretty much Hisoka's raison d'etre, which certainly doesn't make it petty for the purposes of the plot. I can understand people being jarred by the abruptness, but I have faith in Togashi's decision in deciding to kill off either of these fan favorites.
Christ, I'm starting to feel like a proper fanboy.
Majority of Killua inner monologue was really unnecessary, and that took up more than half the chapter. Really this is one of the main problem I had with hxh 2011 anime. Specifically in the chimera ant arc, where the narrator was there to explain every tiny details to the audience, it's very annoying, I would rather he show than tell, this is a visual medium for christ sake! That shit is only necessary in novels. Like seriously the audience is not dumb.
I'm 100% sure he will not kill either in this fight, at least I hope, I think this is more of, hey guys here's the fight you've been looking forward to, also both of these characters story line hasn't even been touch on much from my memories. This would be a waste imo.
@keragamming what Killua's monologue? we are at Manga forum talking about 351 chapter and Dark continent arc.
is this a waste? XD.
¡Thanks God! Chrollo and hisoka have their own things to do. not the typical shit: "I must defeat the Main character just because"
