The way Killua and Gon parted was so empty, they had one of the strongest friendships I've ever seen and to part like that was so bland. The way Killua was just punted from the story like that was just so anticlimactic. I wish Togashi would've left more room for him to make a return one day (which he kind of did with the fact that he had the two say they would keep in contact and to notify the other if something happens) but now I feel like he might pull a Kurapika and just vanish. I just want another arc with all four main characters more than anything. It was a good move though as much as I hate to see another main character exit the story even if it isn't a permanent one, I mean Leorio showed up after being absent for half the story. I feel like this is more of a mid point in the story and we're entering the second half with the outside world. I love the idea because it is setting up some good adventures, as long as this doesn't get too far fetched with the alien concept and we don't ever get anything like the ant arc again than I'm excited. Journey and adventure are what HxH is about, I just wish Killua and Kurapika hadn't been punted. One last thing, I hope this next arc isn't just Gon or Gon with a bunch of new characters who are introduced like in the ant arc. Either one would be really bland, at least have Ging or Leorio tag along or something.

When will Gon, Killua, Leorio and Kurapika go 'round and 'round together again?

Awesome chapter but what does this really tell us. Is this the end of the first half of Hunter x Hunter and we are now entering a "new world". Or is this the end of the manga T_T, I certainly want it to continue but this reminds me too much of the Yu Yu Hakusho ending. I mean Gon's goal had always been to meet his father, I hope I'm just scaring my self and Togashi will continue Hunter x Hunter.

Well I thought there would be more of Gon/ Killua talk but I was surprised to see them at the World Tree already. Well was interesting chapter, I'm curious ot see if Gon follow Gin or they go there separate ways, I'm more inclined to the latter. I like thei dea of the pandora's box but I'm not too fond of the aliens thing...but still look forward to how it goes :)

Oh and interested to see how Kurapica is doing, been too long before we seen him.

Look forward to the next chapter!

One thing i take note is that Netero wasn't in his Prime fighting with Mereum, Secondly Pitou was glad that Transformed Gon didn't fight the King. So the strongest entity we seen was Mereum but it's not absolute that this was the strongest villain.

Anyways i don't think Togashi is going to transfer the story to discovering the "outside" just yet. There is much more he needs to  take care of to bring this adventure into a better light. Ging was just enlightening Gon that there is much more to it. Ging's goal is to explore this vast world. Sometimes people didn't even know where Ging was more than half the time. I like this bigger world concept and i hope it gets explained much better later in the series.

Oh, Togashi, you're brilliant!

Starting this chapter, I was certain all the loose ends were being tied up and that he might actually be headed toward ending the series.  And then Ging dropped that bomb.  Holy hell, that's so brilliant.

The series just got infinitely longer and has reason for more and more crazy, different, alien worlds, creatures and interactions.

I can't help but feel that the world trees are going to be literal worlds - that "planets" will actually be the surface/top of a tree's canopy, much like the Okuninju stalks characters fought on top of in the tournament in the Saga of the Three Kings at the end of Yu Yu Hakusho.

Augh, I can't get over how brilliant this is.  I think Gon's going it alone for now.

The recent rushing has me worried that the series is about to have a very open ending in the coming weeks.

Gon and Killua :( say good bye.

They try to leave on a happy note, but their facial expressions as they look away are so sad. :'(

What the hell? Killua said goodbye to Gon and went his way just like that? WHhat??r

I never thought this would happen. .-.

Finding out that there's more to the world is awesome!! The unknown is always interesting. And those black giant things on the last page look scary :p

As for the art, at least it seems like it improved a bit.

The transition seemed kinda sudden though. When i first started reading the chapter i thought that maybe i had skipped the previous one, but i didn't.

I would love to see Gon going on adventure on his own for once or just with other allies like Ging just for the heck of being the MC. He has been surrounded by those 3 (or some of them) almost the entire series. Kinda like how OP gave Luffy like 3/4 arcs of his own.

You should read the chapter again, Killua and Gon parted, but they didn't want to leave each other.. Gon said i still want to stay and venture with you but Killua is like you should go talk to your Dad... When they parted they didn't seem happy at all, i didn't see them smiling.. It's not like they're gonna part forever, they're just a bit reluctant thats all. I would understand them to be more emotional if they're cutting their ties, they just have their own business to attend to thats it...

Having three emotional reunions or partings would be overdone but togashi didn't want to take that route because he didn't need to.. =[]
