given the disaster that this last arc was, that was a very dignified way to end it. that scene with komugi was really beautifully done. and i am thinking she might have inherited something as i don't think she is dead. i really hope this new arc is going to be better.



Gon was on a mission to find his dad. that was abandoned with the introduction of this previous arc. Netero is dead and that really ruined the dynamics of this manga. it will be interesting to see how things play out now.

jeez i was expecting a much bigger shitstorm over the 8 blank pages than this. and only one kubo reference at that. i guess that last two pages really saved it, for me included, for some reason i gewt the feel that this next arc will be back in the normal epicness of previous arcs.

Regardless, I figured the author just wanted to wrap up the past arc as soon as possible without starting anything new.



And yet he started something new at the end. A new type of Hunter exams but for powerful people and the chairman position. It does make you wonder where those guys where when the ants where running among though.  



Haha! So right about the black pages. Even Kubo can't get away with this much. Seriously this guy gets away with a lot and still everyone praise his art and staff.

No it ain't the hiatuses at all. I started reading HxH when it was already more than halfway through the ant arc and i found it shitty compared to the others even before i reached the waiting point.

It just was so different that didn't really fit. This overpowerfull crazy creatures appeared from nowhere in a world that showed no such over-crazyness  and from one moment to the other we almost went in DBZ levels. It really seemed out of place compared to the mood the manga had until that point.

I think the Chimera Ant arc was really great. Only thing that wasn´t closed well, was the Genei Ryodan in the NGL; Or maybe I've missed something.



I'm very curious to see what HxH will bring us next, and eventually how the series will end.



Time will tell.

chapter was pretty short but the design of the 12 Jyuuni Shin is pretty cool^^

A farewell to the ant arc. What a sad but great ending. Excited to see where the series is going to lead after this. Please don't take another 'break", Togashi.
