Hunter x Hunter Chapter 267 Discussion

Not sure what to say, this chapter moved it further than the previous ones and yet still left it where it has been. Now then, who is responsible for the girl being injured? The king or the dragon attack?

I'd say the Dragons caused the injury and the release of the King's Nen was the result.  Hard to believe that he would have come to care so much for her, but I think that's the most logical thing--though Togashi hasn't exactly been following much logic as of late.  I dunno.  It didn't get us anywhere, but I liked it just the same.  We finally get something resembling an idea of what Meruem's power is.

even though i had a gut feeling something was going to happen to komugi, it still caught me off guard

I love Youpi's transformation. There doesn't seem to be any logic or thought behind it, just instinct.



And The King holding Komugi is excellent. Even more so when re-reading the arc..

Great chapter. The desperation Pitou faced was palpable. And to finally see the start of, for me, one of the most memorable moments in the series in it's original format is really cool. That double spread of The King holding Komugi with his face unseen.....god damn.
