Yeah, this was a pretty well planned attack on every front. He pretty much had him beat from the beginning, providing he meet all the conditions. Which he did.

Yeah, the plan is great. This is the first time in the series that Gon defeats one of the main antagonists, so it's cool that he does it with tactics instead of superior strength.

Killua is a tactical genius, this plan shows that completely. With Angel's Breath, Gon's injuries will be healed but I have to wondered if that had anything to do with Gon sacrificing his arms. Honestly, I'd lean to saying that he'd sacrifice them even without a way out. Regardless, I like the Genthru's one condition is that they heal his friend & I like that our main characters had planned to heal everyone from the beginning even more.
