Hunter x Hunter Chapter 54 Discussion

Was very much looking forward to this fight after seeing the anime already. Did not disappoint.

Decent fight, Hisoka looking super strong. Just wish I could pin down his voice in my head.

                        I'm surprise that no one has made a discussion for this. Hisoka literally destroyed that kastro guy by analyzing every move of his during the fight and coming up with a counter plan instantly. The double technique proved to be to ineffective thus he used this opening against him and defeated him. Hisoka is really on a whole other level.

Hollllly shit, Hisoka was a badass for all 20 pages of this chapter. I wonder what he's doing with his own arms?

This is only the second nen battle but it is a lot more interesting as a fight than the previous. These guys are obviously on another level than Gon or Gido. I like how it's fast-paced and that we don't get that much explanation. In fact, Hisoka's power is not explained at all. But the fight does show how different and imaginative the nen powers can be.



I like how the commentator actually has to clarify that Hisoka taking out a card from his arm and being gross doesn't give him any points and that it has nothing to do with the fight.

Hisoka is insane, but is a great fighter!!! and stronger too!!! kekeke
