That's just crazy - so many doors which get heavier the further you open them but it's also an interesting question how far gon and the others will come.

Madhouse made a pretty big change to the gate opening segment and bluntly I hate how Madhouse did it. I knew about this going in but it still irks me to see Leorio being able to open the door by himself here yet in the 2011 anime it took all three of them.

But this isn't about the Madhouse anime, it's about the source. Which I thought was a pretty good read here. Though I don't really like this portion of HxH, at least comparatively.

                        Well, that sure was incredibly uneventful. I at least expected some skit about one of them falling down under the weight of the vest. If they can't even open 3 doors... I don't understand the point in this, Killua certainly isn't the strongest and they're most likely gonna have to fight, in which I have no clue how they're gonna stand a chance. I hope this arc isn't disappointing...

easy read, not much happened but Gon is a very likeable character, just enjoy being around these three. Am hoping it kicks up a bit soon though as since Gon got his arm broken its been a bit meh.

Wow, Mike was really scary. That panel of his eye was simple but conveyed a lot



Now we have weighted training, huh? Reminds me of Master Roshi's turtle shells XD

At this point in the story Killua probably is the strongest of the MC's. Not that that means much in this series.
