I'm pretty sure most of this chapter, the stuff going into depth about the Phantom Troupe origins, or more accurately, digging into Meteor City's history & former bad dealings with them, was absent from the 2011 adaption of Yorknew. Not sure if that's the case but I certainly didn't remember a lot of this.



It's nice to see the main characters back &  to see Kurapika smile at the end. & lol at the food fight between Gon & Killua.

I agree - I can't remember this stuff being in the anime either.

So at least SOME of the Phantom Troupe came from meteor city, the ones that faked their deaths at least. Very cool, I'm guessing they really are close knit. (Was that game they were playing with Greed Island?). Very cool worldbuilding.



Kurapika finally meets up with Gon and Killua again. Despite being in a depressed state, he can't help but smile at their shenanigans <3

It's so nice to finally see Gon and Kurapika meet again after all this time. I love how Gon speaks first and reminds Kurapika of his second motive, to retrieve the eyes. And of course Killua interrupting the moment with the food fight.
