NANA Chapter 80 Discussion

It seems that everyone hates Reira here ^^'




Well, I really don't think in that way. I'm not a TakumixReira fan, that's for sure, but I really think that it wasn't Reira's fault that Takumi started to cheat on Hachi. But that's another topic...



Everytime I read a new chapter, I keep wondering when NANA will finish. All this situation of Ren's death is hurting me more that I could ever imagine. In general, I think this was a better chapter than the previous ones. I was really sad when Nana collapsed, when Reira cried. And I think this chapter shows us how Shin has grown up (another proof that the "future" is approaching).



However, I can understand Reira's attitude. She is a lonely woman who needs to be loved and her best friend - I guess we can say that - has just died. She must feel guilty for that. And I'm not saying that her attitude was right; no, it wasn't. But I guess I can give her a discount for that.



And I really liked HachixNobu, despite of the situation. I think this shows us that they will be good friends in the future, but nothing more than that. I don't know if they will stay together, but unfortunatly I don't believe in that...

I cried. So fucking hard.

And I couldn't help but want to beat the crap out of Reira. Even though I felt bad at the same time.

^ Well, we already know what happens in the 'future'.

I think a 'happy ending' would be then, Hachi finding Nana and meeting with her in the future.

I wasn't thinking so bad about Reira before -like "it isn't her fault"- but now it is her fault! That selfish bitch, argh!



I think Nana will go when Ren is born. If Ren would be Hachi's child, it wouldn't be that painful but if it is really Reira's child it'd be hell diffucult to endure for Nana. And from the relationship between Reira and future Ren, I think he's Reira's child.



And I've begun to think that it'd be good if Nana dies too, to be together with Ren and it'd be better if Hachi would go with her. It'd be a sad but nice ending, in my opinion.

^   I think you could be wrong...it could be the worst ending you could hope for...i think sumthin like Hachi will die =O  That would be cool but in a bad way @.@  But then again...hachi won't die...shes got kids and stuff the manga isn't cruel enough to do that =]  Well im guessing sumthin bad will happen =[

Why can't he jst stay away from her.  I guess hachi is going to find out they sleep together soon and the divorce is going to be on the way but i hope from the bottom of my heart that it doesn't happen that they end up being together.

And i  have a feeling that Nana is going to come back. the reporter that found Ren was on one of the future scene and she was talking to Nana. i think  that he might send hachi some info. especially with the look she gave him on ch.80. it might have a happy ending. but a happy ending for me is Takumi and hachi get back together.

so.. what was it that wound up lodged in ren's face? was it the lock he had on his necklace or something else? cuz that would be one hell of an ironic twist x.x

Takumi should stop consoling Reira and get back to Hachi, dammit! :[

But it's not like he's gone from Hachi! What a person would he be if he hadn't consoled Reyra, his friend since childhood and a member of his and Ren's group! Besides, wasn't it because of him that Reyra had run?



This chapter was full of dramatic situations. Like Hachi rushing to the door and begging reporters not to ask Nana questions, Nana kneeling on the snow and Yasu carrying her like a helpless child through the flashes of photographers ( I can't blame them now. Though I am angry they all saw Nana like this, people who looked at Nana and Ren like on pop-idols, never knew it was such a great love), like Miu suddenly affected by jealousy (I think she acted right, going for their luggage instead of staying there), Reyra acting silly, Shin lecturing her and Takumi suddenly coming to her rescue. And... somehow I hated that it was written "Trapnest" on Ren's plectron. Like a sign that he took Trapnest with him. Or like Trapnest brought him on the brink to death?

And I was right, it was Nana's birthday present in that box. So tragic. Nana not taking it. But if she saw it, wouldn't it be even more painful, though I can't even imagine THAT pain.

Returning some chapters back, when Nana said she would work the next day, and then Yasu told her, she would never see Ren again. I feel like some unconscious part of Nana was at first happy Ren died. It was a really hard relationship. Nana needed Ren so much, but she couldn't help seeing him her rival =(

FINALLY we get to see Nana and Hachi back together again! From what I could make of the chapter, it seems that Ren will be cremated since Takumi thinks a burial would be too much of a hassle.  Also, I absolutely LOVED Hachi's pissed off face at the beginning when she was glaring at the swarm of reporters. I mean heck, don't those people have even the SLIGHTEST bit of humanity to leave these people alone after their friend has died?! Gosh.




So the past and present seem to be getting closer, do you think NANA will be ending soon?

^ Why do you think a situation where Hachi finds Nana wouldn't be happy? Just wondering.
