I always enjoy the little bit of history knowledge that these chapters provide. Like the Tegata tablets that they need to travel throughout Japan. I thought that was interesting. Itto uses someone else's Tegata, but he ends up getting caught and is accused of being someone else. They accuse him of kidnapping Diagoro and they arrest Itto. Later on, Diagoro finds the cell that they are keeping Itto in and he brings him a Nagamaki. Itto escapes and waits in preparation for his target to get to the checkpoint so that he can find out what palanquin his target is in to assassinate her. Itto comes flying down from the roof and kills her. Then he kills her protector and others who try to arrest him. Seeing as they stand no chance of arresting or killing Itto, they surrender and Itto tells them to throw their guns and swords into his cart. Diagoro comes running to him, but the lady that was watching him grabs him and doesn't want to let him go. Itto tells her to release him, but she refuses. Diagoro breaks away from her and jumps into his father's arms and calls him papa. The lady is in disbelief that they are father and son as the lone wolf and cub make their escape.
