I felt that the confession was, typical of Hikaru, selfish and immature. Okay, not the confession itself, but the whole 'I don't want you to come' thing because he's seen how Haruhi's been acting and I'm pretty sure he knows she loves Tamaki instead.

On one hand, you're right, but on the other... he is kind of justified to say this.  Tamaki is refusing to acknowledge his feelings, and would rather go on about "My daughter!" and utterly ridiculous statements like that.  Hikaru can see Haruhi falling for Tamaki, while Tamaki's being an idiot, and here Hikaru is, acknowledging his own feelings for her and trying to move forward, while Tamaki is dismissing the feelings from Haruhi that Hikaru wants so badly.  <-- very bad run-on sentence.  But I hope you understand what I mean.

Tamaki is being unfair to Haruhi in doing this, and so I don't think it's unfair of Hikaru to want better for Haruhi than that (which, obviously at this point, he thinks is himself).  I'm sure if Tamaki was being serious about Haruhi, Hikaru would have never said this.

I never really liked the twins in the beginning, but since they grew up a bit and Hikaru died his hair, I've really begun to enjoy their characters a lot more :)  And you have to give him some credit for taking a step forward to what he wants, and what he thinks is right.

Hikaru Finally confessed.

And not gonna lie his confession was a bit immature. Which I understand. .

Hikaru's confession <3

i think Tamaki probably will decide not to go on the trip.. since he always puts others before himself.

however, with amazing plot-twisting power, he will be made to go, and tension insues. (which is delicious, so party!)

I just hope hope hope that Tamaki doesn't give up on her because of Hikaru's saying this. Gah!

Man, the last page really made me feel bad for Hikaru. It's like, obviously an unrequited love. He's desperately clinging on for dear life to make Haruhi like him. Yes, there will be (most probably) a superb twist and somehow Tamaki will have to go. And here comes the love triangle!

the ending of this chapter... oh WHATS GONNA HAPPEN NOW;-;

I was sort of bored with the chapter until the end. The ending made me feel really, really bad for Hikaru because I agree with the above-- it seems that Haruhi will end with Tamaki. That, and I'm rooting for Hikaru~

I can't wait for the next one though. I want to see what happens now. :3

Ganbatte kudasai, Hikaru! >:S

Reluctantly enough, I admit you make a good point. ^^' I do understand what you mean, but I was too engrossed in 'poor Tamaki!' mode to properly consider the situation from an unbiased perspective. He's taking Haruhi's love for granted because he's not really aware of it, whereas Hikaru desperately wants it. Sort of.. I feel more sorry for Kaoru, actually, but he seems to be dealing with it fine enough.

They were true in what they said (in chapter 20), the host club really does have its fair share of idiots.

THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.

                ----------------------------------------

So Hikaru takes a bold step, and tells Tamaki how he feels... I felt so bad for him this chapter.  Heck, I feel really bad for him period because I'm pretty sure Haruhi will end up with Tamaki :(  I love Tamaki, but poor Hikaru...

I can't see Tamaki going on the trip after Hikaru specifically told him not to.  In fact, I can see him being quite upset about it, and only going if he's forced (and even then...).  His face looked so heartbroken and shocked.

Definitely an emotional chapter indeed.  I wish you the best Hikaru!  Let's see your efforts in the next few chapters!

PS.  I bet Haruhi can't ski for the life of her xD

I love hikaru. I feel so bafd for him. If only Tamaki would stop being all "fatherly" to haruhi, then maybe I wouldn't feel so bad? Gah. i want some cute hikaru x haruhi moments even though i want her to end up with tamaki just because hikaru has been so neglected recently!

on one hand, it was cold of hikaru to so bluntly tell tamaki not to come, but at least he was honest.

tamaki's not being honest with his feelings. hikaru saying this will probably spurn him on to realize how he truly feels
