Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne Chapter 15 Discussion

The one thing that bothered me about this chapter was Zen’s mother. She hasn’t bothered to visit her own son in the hospital and was acting all chipper as if he doesn’t exist or something. Pretty abusive to be honest. Doesn’t matter if she’s saving up money for his surgery, at the very least she should visit her son if she cared so much.

                        What did Access tell Chiaki to make him decide like that? Is it a good or a bad thing? I don't know how this arc is gonna end. I'm confused. And why is it that the demon can tell the true personalities of the Kaitous while they can't? Are they dumb or something?
