+Anima Chapter 56 Discussion

Yeah... The Blanca part wasnt really explained in the end... Especially her connection to Cooro... But this must be one of those things that are left to the readers to imagine and figure out on their one... I can imagine a reason, but I have to think a while before I finally have a reason to that.



Anyway, those last chapters, the Cooro arc, was making me feel... sad and worried... I dont know, but the feeling of it became much more dark when it come to the history of Cooro (like it said, opening the Pandora box). Much deeper then the rest, in my opnion; and that specially because it showed something not so evident, I think. Cause it was centered in Cooro, it was more clear to see him, a part more hidden of him... Its late at night and I think I'll starting to think I'm saying bullshit here... Anyway, here's my thought of it...



The ending was beautifull. Nothing else is needed to say, I guess.

I thought it was a great ending. The whole bit, even thought they didn't take that much time building up the whole Blanca thing it was still grand in a way.

                        That was such a cute manga, I thoroughly enjoyed following it~



The ending was sad to me cause i didn't want it to end, but such a happy cute ending. I'm glad they decided to live as +anima for the time being. I hope that because they're happy with their anima, they'll always be anima ^^



The thing with cooro being born as a crow was interesting but completely explains it. ^^



The bit with Fly and Blanca made me sad though ;w;

I had a friend explain to me, in great detail, exactly what happened and I'm sad to say she was clearly making things up as she went along. Ridiculous. It's not even so much that they left unanswered questions, but they didn't flesh it all out properly. It was basically like.



"This is Fly. He wants to fly. We kind of forgot about him, but look he's here now! And now we have an angel and, look a random lion/dog/wolf dude who seems important but just ignore him. We'll also shove Cooro's mysterious past in here since we're running out of pages anyway. Yay Cooro's human now! Oh and those side characters like Rose and her brother? Not important. They probably died somewhere."



I understand what the mangaka was attempting to say, but she failed. Yeah I'm upset. I just expected a lot more from such a great manga.

I thought so as well. I felt really confused and I disliked the happy ending where the four are together and then "happily loose their powers". If it was that easy why did they not settle down somewhere from the beginning. And especially why should Cooro loose his powers after loving it that much .. .



I got a but upset also when the story about Husky. I mean there was plenty potential (in my opinion) to talk about him being upset about his mother.. . dunno.

I think you guys mean this to be Chapter 59... Did you forget the extra chapters after Volume two? I'll treat this as Chapter 56 anyway

I'm going to guess you meant chapter 59.. unless MAL is wrong about chapter numbers.



Regardless I thought it was fulfilling and partly broken. At the end we finally see Cooro have a wish and really want to keep staying an anima and alive. The other characters like Fly and Blanca were left totally unknown. I didn't understand much other than the given "Fly wanted to fly with Blanca and he did and than possibly died while Blanca moved on maybe"?



It was still a nice series other than the break because of trying to find vol 9&10 and also forgetting to look for awhile :P
