It felt like I was watching some sort of piece of art neing displayed on this chapter, definitely dindn’t expect such outcome and I think this is my favorite one so far.



All minor things about culture of those days are just so well explained

That was a really uncomfortable chapter to read (the tattoo part), but I liked the cultural/historical background (as always). It was also longer than usual, I think. More than 100 pages.



This chapter also had a distinct "style" with flashbacks and meetings, making faces fade away.



I wonder if O-yuki got pregnant after that incident with Enki. Did abortion exist in Edo Japan?

The lady in this chapter reminded me of Meiko from Koike's other manga, Lady Snowblood. She was pretty badass. Itto is an honorable man. He allowed her to take her revenge before completing his mission of killing her. Good stuff.
