Dragon Ball Chapter 520 Discussion

                        I was skeptical of my childhood's memories, but it turned out to be a fun ride. My favorite arcs were  Frieza's arc > Piccolo's arc > Cell's ark. The last arc wasn't very good and the conclusion could have been done better.  The best fights were from piccolo's arc, the rest were more about powering up rather than fighting martial arts. I read this manga online a few parts aren't translated, I remember there was a speech bubbles that said "Use Your imagination" I lol'd.

my gawd the feels after finishing this. so many superhero-cliche arcs and a really funny fight at the ending. with everybody becoming friends smh

now this is shounen. feels good. feels nice XD

That was a really fun ride.

I've only seen the (American) version of Dragon ball Z, so I was a bit sceptical to start with the manga, but it was pretty good. Especially the Dragonball part, before Raditz arrival. From that point, I though it went a bit downhill with an incredible anti-climax, the Buu part. Damn I hated that arc. I wanted to give the manga an 8, but the last arc was just too ridiculous, it brought it down to 7/10.



Overall, it was a good manga and brought back some memories from when I watched Dbz on Cartoon Network ^^ I finished all chapters in just about 5 days, so yeah, I liked it.

I feel very grateful for this manga, and all of the fun ideas that Toriyama-sensei showed to us. This was my second time reading the full manga, and my first time reading it since his passing. I'm just so glad that this story which entertained me so much as a child, still holds new things for me to discover and appreciate each time I come back to it. Thank you so much for giving us this wonderful story, Toriyama-sensei.

A great manga. It's a bit dated and definitely not perfect but it was an important show to me while I was growing up and even now, it's still an excellent battle manga.
