So close to the end, with all the time spent on Vegeta and his relationship with Goku, I think it's important to give Vegeta this moment of reflection on Kakarot, and fully appraise him at the champion. Helps bring a needed sense of closure. Also found his talk with Goku after funny, with how Vegeta though Goku was holding back for him but in actuality Kid Buu just wasn't giving Goku the time. Amusing but also plot relevant, it would be really disappointing if Goku just up and beat Kid Buu on his own at this point, so giving Vegeta a role to play is a great decision.
