Dragon Ball Chapter 57 Discussion

I love this heroic side of Goku. He's just thrown into this conflict and instantly decides to help them out.



I love the setup and the storming of the tower. The pacing, paneling and flow of the action is just amazingly done. I especially like Goku's staff stretching its way outside of the panels three times.

The pacing of that joke with Goku coming back in from the cold was brilliant. Really fits in well with how many of those two pages prior was based around Goku's speed, like how many punches and kicks he hit off without them even seeing. I'm also a fan of Goku's new winter outfit, and I'm enjoying how quick the pace of this arc seems to be.

Goku: Is your father?

Girl: No, is a soldier of Red Ribon.
