Dragon Ball Chapter 92 Discussion

Gou wins the fight, and he goes to find the dragon balls to resurrect the Upa´s father!!!

                        The City life sounds horrible for some reason. I like how the R.R group was surprised to see Goku instead of Tao.

lol It was not a good idea to throw that grenade.

goku become more and more the warrior we know.

Thus ends the fight with Tao, the first real serious threat in the story and maybe it's because I have seen this part of the fight before, but I don't really feel like it's that strong of a finish. Well, the closing minutes with the grenade were great but like overall, the fight here was more of just a measuring stick for Goku's strength post training than anything resembling a dramatic battle. I guess I wasn't remembering it being this easy for Goku after the training, and even though it was brief, his build up as a threat did have me hoping for a bit more.

This whole Tao Pai Pai part is my least favourite part of the arc. I like that Goku switches objective to resurrecting Bora and the actual fight against Tao is some good action. But Goku was already stronger than all of his friends and the whole Red Ribbon Army, so I never felt that a power boost at this point was necessary. I also don't think Tao is that interesting of a character. He's ugly and he killed the hunk Blue in a really unhygienic way, yuck.
