Wasn’t expecting such a great chapter, maybe the most shocking one of the series. The silence in the last panels was grandiose. Seems like we’ll have a really great end for this masterpiece. Now lets just hope that Takasugi will not revive (even though it’s my favorite character), and that the anime adaptation will be as good as Shogun+Shinsengumi arcs.

9002/10. Grandiose

Yep. That eerie feeling when tears rolled down Sensei's eyes. Somehow it made me feel really worried for Takasugi but then the whole scenario changed with the piercing blow. I was not expecting it. When Takasugi said "There is no need for you to apologize" that eerie feeling intensified and I actually hesitated to go to the next page and I was lost of words seeing him stab Sensei.

I thought I was reading it wrong but that bloody panel, O M G. "Omae no Taisetsu na Deshi no Naka de". I had goosebumps all over my body. The final 8 pages without any dialogues after that single sfx of explosion just gave off such a grim feel about it!

Anyone who thought Sorachi is probably finished should read this chapter. Gintama is undoubtedly one of the greatest manga of all time. I don't think anything can ever surpass it.

Oh damn... this is rought, i mean, what, since how ? is he just took the conrol recently or did he was that Takatsuro all the time since he got the heart ? i'm pretty confused right now.. in the right way !

Exactly what i need to forget the big disappointment from the last ep of GoT...

still hope that Takasugi can comeback, well he can die after, but comeback for a last word, as himself.. i still take it if he just comeback, i don't feel like he fully deserv it compare to some other char.

wait and see, and hope as great as allways from sorachi, whom never disapoint me until now. I think that Utsuro only took over Takasugi’s body when Takasugi was about to die if he was a normal human, but his will to stay alive to talk to his sensei made him use his deepest ressource, Utsuro blood. And Utsuro only took the control at that moment and somewhat managed to survive.

For the comeback thing, I will prefer him to not comeback, bc it will be too easy in my opinion to make him comeback from this situation.

Most intense chapter since that Gintoki and mini-Shoyo journey. Some were guessing that Gintama will end with a Gintoki vs. Utsuro rematch and some were guessing it will end with a Gintoki vs. Takasugi rematch. We all got bamboozled and instead we're getting Gintoki vs. Takasugi but not actually Takasugi but rather Utsuro. This is probably the most satisfying turn Gintama could've made at this point and extremely excited to see how things end. Or I guess not, since idk how I feel about my boy Shinsuke actually dying.

You know I am reading some light-hearted shoujo manga right now because ever since yesterday has been super painful for me.

It would be just too painful. Because Takasugi's death would also mean the death of the Gintoki that lived through years of agony and self hatred for being unable to save both his father and brother and be revived to go through it all over again. T_T

Just thinking that if Takasugi's subconcious is still active although his body and mind have been taken over by Utsuro like in the case for Shouyou's and how it may be tied to the last face Takasugi would see through his now revived left eye would be Gintoki's all over again makes it so painful T_T.

I still fucking cry everytime I re-visit that chapter/episode. If that is how it ends, I am gonna cry a fucking ocean, I tell you. T_T

I am pinning all my hopes on Sorachi and will count on him to find a way to make it less painful. :')
