I don't think this arc is the movie's prologue. The movie bases on another timeline.

Gorilla likes to use just some repeatable themes, but of course it doesn't mean that you can predict what happens next.

Our princess is back and shes such a beauty(my okikagu heart lol)! And that was really funny between takasugi and gin made my stomach hurt

Man, the combo is amazing. It reminds me with episode 166 with GinHiji combo. Only on this chapter, Gintoki got humiliated by Takasugi rather than doing a synchronized combo.

And that 'Riding' part, i'm dying! XD

I think that this is part of the reason, not the whole one. From Gintoki's words a couple of chapters earlier about Takasugi's "selfish" reason for leaving and from Matako's interpretation, he actually might have something similar he left for.

of course kagura needs to be this good looking, i mean shinpachi became one of the visual kings after the timeskip, right? lololol but on a serious note, i'm already dead curious on what gintoki has that makes the enemy go crazy, perhaps a part of utsuro? Idk... looking forward to the yorozuya reunion already but i know we'll go through lots of things first.

She can change her body like that old Yato, cool.

Lol, Takasugi is using Gin-chan as a weapon.

              

This chapter confirms that the Silver Soul Arc is a combination of  The Time Skip Arc and the movie The Final Chapter. [i] Chapter 677 - Okita: She's fast [/ i], [i] Chapter 324, page 7-8 Gintoki: She's fast [/ i]. Besides Okita is an assassin (movie) who leads a new dangerous group (arc). I'm skipping that previous romantic part with gorillas and more.

So we can sit calmly, waiting for the Delivery Dog from Star Commander to bring Sadaharu.

Page 11 confirms that it's the Naraku also(the neck tattoo)

                        Lmao at the beginning, with the half-grown Kagura. As if we would see older Kagura right away. Sorachi be trolling whenever he gets the chance! But yeah, more Okita vs. Kanna Kagura. Kagura's slowly growing to normal size, and her strength is getting stronger. Oooh, older Kagura looks awesome. She seems both attractive, and retains the same old Kagura feel. Lol, Sougo playing dirty with that grenade. Only Zura gets to play with bombs XD



And we cut to Gintoki and Takasugi. It seems like Gintoki has something on him that Takasugi wants. It's the same reason why there's so many people hunting down Gintoki. "When Gin-san puts his serious face on to talk, the villain's not allowed to interrupt him! It's an unspoken rule, don't you know that?!", lol! I love how Takasugi's kinda acting like a boke, by asking back his copy of "The Portopia Serial Murder Case". OMG, Gintoki and Takasugi are hilarious together!! Gintoki's just straight-up dead weight to Takasugi.

Just when I thought I'll be seeing some badass duo action from Gintoki and Takasugi, that ending happens XD



Best chapter from this timeskip so far! And I gotta say, I'm surprised at the slower pace this series is taking. It feels like a nice breather after all that fast-paced seriousness that came from the second part of the Silver Soul arc.

I love the interaction between Gintoki - Takasugi, but Gintoki - Hijikata does it better
