I don't think we need any more clash with Takasugi after Shogun Assasination Arc. He's been getting a very good development since that day. I've never saw him as a villain anymore since that fight. Utsuro is enough for the final villain. Letting Takasugi fight Gintoki again makes zero sense. It would just looks like Naruto vs Sasuke final fight.



The whole reason Takasugi portrayed as a villain is to reveal their past and connection with Shouyou until SA. I'll be more interested with his visionary after time skip with all these things happened.

Lol, Shinpachi was trying to act cool as Gintoki in the first chapter, but all he managed is to get his ass kicked.

They disbanded??

What's going on....



Is he planning to continue the serise after the timeskip with Kagura and Shinpachi grown up.

Reminds me of the ending of Samurai Champloo

I've read the translations, and i think Sorachi chose non-linear storyline for the ending. Basically we'll get to see what happened after Amenotori fall from every character point of view through the flashback, where are they now, what are they doing, and so on.



Though it seems like Plot-hole everywhere, Sorachi left this message at the cover page.

Yes. That's why i'm pretty sure several chapters later we'll see from POV of Joui 3 & Utsuro until they decided to come back, then from Kagura and the Yatos, and finally Shinsengumi and the rest.

What happened to Sadaharu?

like will Takasugi and Gintoki sparring rematch(hinted at in SA and RDB)?

what happened to Utsuro/Shouyou when he fell into that pit?

where is Asameon and Shachi?

closure with the Baka Princes?

what happened to Yoshiwara and all the citizens?

closure with the Ninjas ?

closure with Soyo and Noboubou?

what is Takasugi doing with the Tendshou's bodies?

what happened to the Yato's?

closure with the Kihetai and Bansai?

closure with Katsura, Joui, and Elizabeth?

closure with the 4 Devas?

will Kintoki and Tama get repaired?



is there any other questions or closure that needs/might happens before the series ends?

                        So we get a timeskip in this chapter! Though we do get to see and find out that the ship landed properly after the last chapter's ending and everyone is basically safe. Utsuro's fate is basically unknown at this point. But the coolest thing about this chapter is how Shinpachi basically became a Gintoki 2.0. Just like in the first chapter how Gintoki saved Shinpachi, Shinpachi's helping some loser boy out in the same way...



Or that's what you thought. But this is Gintama and Shinpachi never gets justice, so he turns into a punching bag pretty quickly. Loser or not, timeskip Shinpachi is bishounen af. And his outfit is a mix of Gintoki and Shiroyasha's outfit! That part where a grown-up Shinpachi's all alone in a broken-down Yorozuya Gin-chan shop really got to me ;_;



By the looks of this chapter, we still got a couple of chapters left until this series concludes.



In a troll sense, imagine if Kagura and Gintoki left because they don't want to deal with the hassle of repairing the city XD
