Kondo is not dead (not yet). That was just a nightmare showing how tormented Toshi is because he doesn't know what to do anymore.

A dream huh? For the beginning of the end I suppose. Well, the question is if they are still planinng on going serious in the next chapter or temporaliry going back to the comedic chapters for one last time. But I sure wonder if they can really do that, now that the world has changed a lot and the shinsengumi is gone...
