I have mixed feelings about this arc. I'm glad we're finally getting a Gin-san backstory (and the big fights Gintoko x Takasugi and Kagura x Kamui) but it just seems like everything is ending... and I don't want it to end :-(

Finally Gins past will be revealed, well his past concerning his sensei

The fight is awesome thus far, both of them are going all in, not missing even the smallest opening to strike.



Flashback was good too, Shoyo sensei was one bad ass mofo in his time, even tho he rarely resorted to violence.

How much better can this get? Seriously, Sorachi sensei. Stop being amazing.

Man, the flashback is pure gold. The fight in between the flashbacks is seriously good! And how strong is Yoshida Shoyo... He can beat the living hell out of present Gin, Taka and Zura if he still alive.

Not much battle progress but very nice art for this chapter. Gintoki's mentor knocks him underground. Crazy.

Katsura appeared in this arc! Kid Gintoki and Shouyou sensei were pure gold. Next should be the sibling's flashback?
