And so... 42 volumes later... back to where it started, just like nothing happenned at all. Bad ending to a average manga.

I had some fun times with it, but it never were anything special.

6/10 for the whole series.

Glad´s it´s finished. Now a proper anime adaptation please, by the same studio or a better one, that is. For all I care Pierrot can pick this up tho, since it's finished anyway.

In the meantime, I might rewatch the varia/future arc since those were pretty well done for a generic shounen.

Bad manga had bad ending.

Hmmm, was in doubt whether to go for a 4/10, 5/10 or 6/10. Think I will stick with 6/10 since Varia arc was somewhat special for me.

What i'm saying is just to don't overeact about the ending because the ending it's a small part of a whole.

Completly wrong. Endings can change everything. Don't believe me? Take a look at Usagi drops ending and try to tell me that didn't change the whole manga.

So let's look at this ending. Everything was builting up to the point where Tsuna finally accepts his destiny and improves himself. All that was needed to make this a decent end was to have him accept being the Tenth and confess to the girl he loves. However even this ending went out of it's way to point out that Tsuna has not changed at all and without reborn he is worthless. Not only that, it didn't tie up the romance either. Conclusion? This entire manga has been rendered completly pointless. The future arc? The Varia arc? Didn't matter if they happen at all. There was no result. You can't just push that away and say it's only an ending.

Last arc was terrible the Shimon arc was better than that. I just wish they would have actually shown him develop into Vongola 10th and accept his role for his friends. One thing that irritates me is that this whole time they've been pushing the TsunaxKyoko thing and putting Haru on the backburner but at the end they want to make Tsuna finally see her as a love interest wtf. There was so much potential for this manga coming out of the Future arc (not saying that that arc was entirely good) and then it just kept getting worse and just disappointed me but it was still enjoyable all the way through 7/10
