Ok, I think I'm missing something here. I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this, or thought about this.
...But, aren't Tsuna and his group a lot more powerful than their Shimon counter-parts?
It was stated in this chapter that both ring groups were equal in strength. While that may be true, Tsuna and his group unlocked the full potential of their rings during their battles in the future. Now, originally one could argue that this already puts them above and beyond the level of the Shimon group since Tsuna's group has had plenty of training with their rings. However, that's a different point.
My point is that Tsuna and his group now have powerful Box weapons tied to their rings. This alone should put them in a whole different league than the Shimon group. Not to mention, it seemed to me that, Tsuna went above and beyond everyone else fighting with Byakuran.
...So, please, someone tell me why they are being intimidated by a group of people that have just recently obtained their rings? They have had no practice what so ever with their rings since they JUST unlocked them. Granted, the rings are equal in strength to the Vongola rings, but NOT with Tsuna and his group's box weapons. In fact, no one else but Tsuna and his group should have box weapons at all.
This battle should be cake for them is my point...but the manga isn't making it seem that way. Unless they are really trying to pull off.."A random group of kids appear that have only just now unlocked their family rings AND are equal to, maybe a little bit less than, in strength to Byakuran." because that would be ridiculous.
I'm just sayin'
