What's with Junji Itou and making gas, or something like gas, a spirit? Seriously, I think I've seen that plot 3 or 4x and I still got creeped out

The manga went full bonkers, not that it wasn't crazy as hell before.

I'm really lost. The gas is alive? It's something artificial or supernatural?



That was probably the creepiest circus I have seen in all my life.

I love how this chapter instantly switches from the fast-paced action horror of the earlier parts to quieter but still delightfully bizarre surrealism.
