Jonouchi got Mai to take her star chips, also Kaiba used cards to stop guns wow. Still in comparison to the anime he was much more badass here, and not to mention the way he got to the island made more sense as well.



But will have to agree with the upper post, watching the anime and reading the manga simultaneously myself, it is like experiencing two entirely different stories. Sure they share the events, but so much things have either been left out or changed that it makes them totally opposite in tone and intent.

                        I'm watching the anime at the same time as I'm reading the manga and it's kind of strange to see the difference between the two. Kaiba's reentrance into the story is way different, but they're both still heading toward the same outcome from what it seems. I actually like getting to have a variance in the story. Makes me feel like I can enjoy it twice as much at the same time.

The way Kaiba stopped that gun with his card was ridiculous, but i liked it. Haha. It was cool. Making them jump out while he took over was such a boss move. Nice job Seto.

Oh yeah, the (in)famous gun scene was done here when Kaiba was on the helicopter in the manga. I have that same card, lol
