Tenjou Tenge Chapter 136 Discussion

The ending was decent. Glad it wasn't as confusing as the rest of this god forsaken series. As for the series as a whole...it was horrible. It was too confusing, time periods jumped around too much without letting the readers fully understand what was going on, too many characters where introduced within each arc, stupid things like "If you step forward you'll reach your destination..etc" where repeated over and over again when they should have been spending that time explaining the story more, it felt like whenever the mangaka had a new idea for a manga he'd just merge it into this one. Ehh I could go on.





The only thing this series had going for it was the drawings (nude ladies yay) and fights.

I didn't understand half the Mumbo Jumbo they were talking about......Only thing I recall is boobs, someone dying and crap ending. THE END.

ok however it may be, this finale was awesome to this mess of cluster.

So no one ended up together?

Noooooooooooo maya dies had me in tears for a bit. I guess thats what you call dying to save your beloved. Honestly this ending sucks i didnt like the fact that she HAS to die where it couldve been inevittable. Aya now has a chance to fill in souichiros heart since theres still bits and pieces of maya with in his heart but i sorta preferred the love triangle.



Beloved? I thought it was one sided? Was there more development to their relationship in the manga?

upon my xth reread it makes me even more disappointed that we never got to see the world roaming arc likely spanning for another decade. in an exclusive it was revealed aya would have eventually developed feelings for masa. yet it was all shelved in favor of a rushed but somewhat sweet and sour ending we got. mottainai!

I too liked the manga in the beginning, then I was confused with that Feudal Arc flashback and some other flashbacks, but I really liked the end and overall it was fun reading this manga. Plus Oh!Great's art is awesome!
