the whole "Tsukuyomi angered Amaterasu by killing Uke Mochi (the goddess of food)" is only one version of the legend so I wouldn't be surprised if O!G goes in another direction. AFAIK, there should be more than one version to this story but the one in my post seems to be the most popular.



there's one thing that still makes me doubt that Mitsuomi is Tsukuyomi: the fact that he's got basically one foot on the grave.

@Massaki: re-read the first couple of pages. Oh! Great was already implying that Tsukiyomi will be either one of the Takayanagi brothers. According to the mythology though, Tsukiyomi did something that angered Amaterasu and their relationship deteriorated after that. If Oh! Great plans to base the next couple of chapters on that mythology, Mitsuomi seems to be more likely to be Tsukiyomi because of the parallels of Mitsuomi's falling out with Maya.



anyways, what do guys think about the Kabane clan? is it just me or are they just too fkn powerful? Hirohiko can pretty much use anything and combine his ki with it to create his swords. his sister, Nui, on the other hand has the ability to use her ki with gun powder and she has a miniature cannon.

that slap was great. too bad it had to end there and switch to Nagi. I really wanted to see what happens there.

after the new revelations in this chapter, I'm completely and utterly confused about what the hell is going on. who the hell is Tsukiyomi supposed to be in this timeline? it can't be a member of either the Red or White feathers. I'm guessing its one of the Takayanagi brothers. I'm hoping that it turns out to be Masataka who was supposedly excluded in the "ring of fate".

Can't really deny that Masataka showed Mitsuomi who's 'boss' with that slap. As for Tsukuyomi:




The shadowed figure is pretty much that of Nagi's. The eyepatch completely gave it away, at least it's what it seems to me. Plus, we already know that Maya is Amaterasu. That just strengthened the whole point.

well, i have to say, that while it was a nice chapter (the slap was great :P) i'm getting more and more confused xD . ok, through some of the explanations in this thread some things became clearer, but the more i read of tenjo tenge the bigger is my confusion.

You got it wrong there. Tsukuyomi is either Mitsuomi or Masataka (i would say the latter through), and all the whole thing about the moon at the beginning of the chapter was about that.

Maya is Amaterasu as we already know. Then Souchirou is the only one missing. Susano.

Finally caught up! :D



Pretty good chapter, loved the slap Masataka gave to Mitsuomi =P

Also, I hope Masataka is Tsukiyomi.
