The first scenes were definitely eye-catching. Well, it's expected that the effects were better in the anime. The sfx were kinda annoying. Anyway, I'm just gonna read more.

What an interesting way to structure a fist chapter, not one I'm the biggest fan of but interesting none the less.

A good first chapter! I'm coming into this with essentially zero knowledge of this manga and I like that they explained it so simply. Also She's 9 years old ?? I could tell she was a kid by the cover but I thought she was like 12 not 9- that really caught me off guard lmao

you are right it is different than the anime, I prefer this beginning a lot more.

A direct start right to the basic ingredients ! (better than what was given on TV)





4/5 Long time since I've last read this series. The new edition is pretty, too bad only the cover artwork is coloured (I was expecting the magazines colour pages to be here too)

It is different than the anime. But the anime's intro was better than the manga in my opinion.
