I like Kiriyama's character and design, I just didn't like those bullshits about him not even getting a single scratch.

His death was kinda sad.

As for Shogo, I got a feeling that he is doing it for them....or not.

Kiriyama is the most ridiculous character in this manga. He belongs in Dragonball Z or Saint Seiya, or some other battle shounen

This was a pretty lousy way to let a character die who dodged death tens of times through the serie. Kawada’s betrayal was expected, but I still think this ain’t his true plans. He doens’t want to win, he wants to pay the government back. Right? Get at least this thing right.

yeah pretty much expected Kawada to pull this scheme off, or maybe he is doing it for them because he knows they wouldn't let him kill himself.

I've been waiting for this. I never forgot what the guy in charge of the program basically says, "Looks like Kawada's up to his old tricks again." I was actually beginning to think he wouldn't do it. What I wonder, however, is whether or not The Program people will allow it. In Kawada's file it said in the conclusion something along the lines of, "Subject cannot win for a second term. Must NOT leave the island alive."



As for Kiriyama, his death went nicely. I believe this was a death more acceptable for him, especially with his last words to Shuuya.

Yeah I remember this part as well, so these events aren't really a suprise to me.

Kiriyama was honestly my second favorite character despite all the plot armor bs so it's sad seeing him go. I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about the next few chapters

I could never bring myself to hate Kiriyama. I would go as far as saying he was my favorite character. (Mimura will always be the best though)
