Battle Royale Chapter 55 Discussion

One of the best characters in the manga just died....



Since they made Kiriyama pretty much untouchable I find it hard to believe that he will die. If he dies a stupid way it will only make me look down on this manga more.

Really... So at the end, all the build up, the bomb, Mimura, they amounted to absolutely nothing. What a waste. They really just went and made the only interesting part of the story seem pointless. And nothing was remotely good about it. The plot armor was bullshit. Mimura was the best character here. And eventhough I think that, the entire time I was sadder about the bomb being wasted than what was happening to him. These past few chapters were all annoying tbh. They should have just bolted the second they found the pulley. Instead, they had to get caught up in some annoying drama and ruin everything.

I dont think its worth continuing anymore! Wtf this manga completly sucks.

It needs to be more realistic.



If you dont mind realism then you can go on. I think i will just skip from 2 to 2 pages to see what happens. Really not worth wasting time with it.

Shinji's death was the most impactful so far. There was a lot of character development and it was cool to see him putting his brain to use. Made the whole outcome more frustrating. Kiriyama is too OP with apparently no weakness as of yet. I wonder what kind of backstory he will have. Doubt it can justify him turning out like that.

That volume was great, up until Kazuo showed off his android skills, the way he's portrayed as some stone cold, invincible killing robot who's perfect at everything is just stupid.  Really surprising development, only way it would've been more would be if Kazuo truly died.

They screwed up the manga.

How can they possible do this?

very true, two shots gave away the position, it's also fine that the plan failed, which was very likely from the beginning by this manga standards at having those 180° turn around all the time, but the obvious villain plot armor makes it a joke sadly
