This was enough to make this chapter worth reading! Although I still doubt he was fully sincere (especially when he said he gave up on revenge), I want to believe Char (yes, I always hoped there was a little bit of truth in their relation, like Monte-Cristo with Albert). And it helps to make his shift in goals less chaotic. He needed something to grasp.
The second part was less interesting. It tried to show the importance of this terrible Zeon "solar ray" but was kind of light after such a piece.
Nice to see the Luna II commander reappear as a more determined person.
