The love triangle was my favorite part X3. I liked it being inconclusive... I mean, I'm the kind of person who always wants the main character to end up with the less obvious person (ie, Aya instead of Ryou). I would have been most happy if she had ended up with Yuzuru! But the chances of that happening were really slim, so this saved my disappointment and lets me think that maybe she did, in the future.
I also feel that endings like this are much more realistic! Not many people live happily ever after with their high school crushes, and it's even less likely when they're in the kind of business they're in! I think it was a happier ending than an 'she an Ryou fell in love, and then she became a social worker and he moved overseas to be an actor for ten years and fell in love with a co-worker, and she lived a lonely life of never dating anyone waiting for her loved one to come home'/likely scenario.
I was also sort of expecting something like this. I mean, we've from the start that Yukari had a dream that had nothing to do with acting, and that neither Ryou nor aya could give up their acting dream... (I bet Yuzaru would of for her, though!)
So yeah, I think I was one of the very few people who was satisfied with the ending.
