Chrno Crusade Chapter 6 Discussion

That's what the fucker gets for underestimating humans.



Rosette's determination is amazing.

Glad they managed to help Azmaria.

That single bullet did a surprising amount of damage.



With it being that effective, I don't understand why it wasn't used immediately.

In the anime the demons have a piss yellow glow that makes it impossible to tell what's going on that I despise, so I'm glad it's more clear in the manga.  In fact, despite the bad action composition at times this chapter was oddly good with it, it had its bad moments but it was clear most of the time.



Rosette is such a great person.  Her advice about showing your true feelings in the last chapters before Asmaria was taken, and now this about being positive and doing what you can because the future isn't set in stone is absolutely beautiful.  The way Asmaria took that advice to heart and used her power even though she's afraid of it herself at the end encapsulates Rosette's wisdom.



I don't understand what barriers are just yet, I can't tell if it saved her or what exactly.  I also agree with Steven slightly that the gospel or whatever they shot should have been used early, it did more than Chrno was capable of.  Perhaps they did need to catch him off guard to hit him which would make this justifiable.   



Rosette offering the choir job was adorable. :)

                I really enjoyed the fight between Chrno, and Relaie. I just wish it would have been  longer.
