N has shown himself to be a great trainer, and White has shown that she is completely incapable of participating in a Pokemon battle.

this is exactly what i wanted the manga to do. since in the games the playable character is silent, there's not a real conflict between the player and N, unless you imagine it. this chapter does that conflict exactly as i imagined it.

i think N tearing up is a little exaggerate, but it at least have the impact of his character.
