Don't get why she puts up with that crap from the company, not sure about in Japan but if someone graduated from Tokyo-U and Harvard they wouldn't have to be the type of person that has to put up with shit roles in a company... Also I would assume they would be able to make alot of contacts in Tokyo-U as to avoid having to be all alone.

No, that kind of crap happens a lot.    And not just to woman, that his people holding down those who they know have talent because they know they are harder to control etc and they are too much of a challenge for them.   I have gone through it and my former boss used to go through it because the woman above her saw her as a threat because she had more degrees.

At least she got to let it out her anger :D
