i don't know if i like the fact that lady wins the gym leaders without too much battle experience, especially from the fact that ponyta should had little more time standing and prinplup stand much more than ponyta against grass moves...

Ponyta really goes down to one attack and Prinpulp could withstand multiple attacks that had a type advantage while being poisoned? Cynthia also desided to help out some random kids outside the building where a hostage she was supposed to save was being held?
