Pokémon Special Chapter 40 Discussion

This was a very enjoyable chapter and end of this arc. We got a glimpse of the Elite Four, so I think the best is yet to come!

Also, I love how Poliwrath always gets knocked down in 1 second (I know it was part of Red's "plan" though)

That was beautiful, it's good to see how they've both grown during their journey.

Well, Red knocked Blue out too and so far as of this chapter I've seen no character reference the Elite 4.

Final battle was great. Really loved how it all came out in the end!!

So, I am finally starting to reread everything, starting from RGB arc.



This is a great arc to start the entire series on. Being the first arc, this is probably the arc i've read the most (since I've been trying to reread everything since 2020). 

The final battle is great, showing the growth of red and green (blue?) as a trainer by learning from each other. I've seen this arc being reviewed the most (and usually the only one, sadly) in youtube videos, and most of the time, they will say something along the lines of it being "dark". Sure, it is way darker than anime, but it's not as dark as what they claim it to be. Blue (green? the girl trainer) is also an interesting character, being a good trickster, with a phobia of flying-type pokemon (foreshadowing, wink-wink). 



Overall, i will rate this arc a 9.5/10, which is actually unchanged from my previous rating of this arc.

                        I loved how this manga actually showed how Red and Green have grown and matured in their adventures and that battle was epic.

Elite Four will reference later just keep in mind don’t let the anime or game think the manga doesn’t make sense it is it’s own take on it they may play a different role then we think they are in games and anime we played and watch but it’s very unique and enjoyable

so they kept trainer vs trainer literally 'tll through the end huh? xD



at any rate, this was amazing battle finishing this amazing arc, showing they grown along the series.

and as for the volume itself it must be the most action packed them all.



9/10 for RGB arc

It was a good fight! Red's pokemon worked together in such a great manner! They absoluetly deserved this victory!
