Kaibutsu Oujo Chapter 87 Discussion

Meh series from start to finish. I never felt any attachment to the characters and although some of the chemistry between the two main leads were amusing, I didn't think they were memorable.



Good horror comedy overall but the plot didn't keep me interested.

I would very much like the artbook that's coming out to be translated, as it supposedly contains that dialogue that ties up even more loose ends of the series. Bless the author for feeling obligated to the readers!

Im so sad we don't get to see more of future Hiro he was pretty cool for the 5 pages he was in :(

Can someone explain what "phoenix in human form" means????



is she still immortal? no more fire powers?

or is she just a human now with antennae



how can she still be called a phoenix without those powers....not even blood warrior producing blood anymore?





and i thought in the chapter with the ghost who stole her body, a clear distinction was made between her physical body and her "royalty" true self.....



so....if she "lost her royal powers" and is no longer royalty, is she a different person?

The soul of a powerful alien resides inside Buchhi though it was the first time he could use its power without it taking over his mind. Refer to chapter 65 for additional info.

The ending was satisfying.

EMILE & FUHITO :- Favorite royal brothers & male antagonists in this manga.



The royal siblings are alive & fine.

This has been my favorite manga series in the last decade. While this conclusion was a little bit weird (I guess it was an attempt to tie things together in some sort of paradox), I thought it was a an overall solid ending, and a clever way to keep the crew back together.

This has been a great twenty volume ride and I'm not sure I will ever get this endeared to another cast of manga characters again. I will miss reading new chapters, and I hope these characters will cameo in Naquken (however that's spelled), and I sincerely hope that the remaining volumes get released here in the U.S., because this is a manga series that I want to immortalize on my shelf!! Viya con Dios!!

So Hime is now a phoenix in human form? And can someone explain to me what Bucchi's powers were? I think I remember something happened to him but I forgot the details.

Sad that it is over but I kinda liked how It ended, as long as they are all together I have up to volume 8 in English, wish they continue publishing this in the US

While I'm sad it's over, I have to thank Mitsunaga for creating a manga I hold quite dear and one that I've always enjoyed reading over the last four years, it has been even a longer ride for him and I'm looking forward to his next manga.
