Pokémon Special Chapter 116 Discussion

                        An interesting end to volume 9.



It will be interesting to see the old characters make their way back into the story.  I did not like Yellow in the last couple of chapters; she was reduced to the classic female role of worrying on sidelines.  Hopefully we’ll get to see more of her old self when begins her new journey and more likely takes a bigger part in the story.



The tragedy of Red’s injuries is heightened by the fact that Mato was suffering from a similar injury that left her unable to draw and this volume is her last.  She did an amazing job in illustrating all the chapters so far.

rereading this chapter, last 2 pages made me laugh

red: "i don't want you pikachu to be involves in anything happening"

yellow: "lets go pikachu, to johto, where things are definitely happening"

those 2 chapters for me were introduction for more red&blue&yelllow for the following arc.



hope that the new artist will keep the level.
