I agree. These are the kind of chapters I "like".

I liked how the pregnant women became one with the female mosquitoes who go after blood for their offspring. It was very explicit and on the nose, but it did a fine job in the end, by leaving us wondering if that really happened or not. Maybe Kirie just hallucinated the mosquitoes as pregnant women, who knows?

When I saw the pregnant horde armed with drills, I knew exactly what time it was. 😭

I liked this chapter, I kinda pieced it together with the Bug Spray making her cousin cough and the explanation of female mosquitoes need blood for their babies.

I think I'm starting to think like Junji Ito 😲

ALSO Kirie has incredible plot armor.

Niice I really enjoyed this chapter, although Kirie is really brave to stay in the town given all the horrors that are happening, all of which, as far as I can tell, are caused by Dragonfly Pond in a way. (lol)
