Gantz Chapter 383 Discussion

I didn't expect it to end so abruptly but I guess I'm fine with it, I'm sad we didn't get to see anything of the others anymore except on the last panel maybe but whatever

No closure. No explanations. No resolutions. No hilarious deaths of main characters. It looks like Hollywood's influence took over whatever shred of brains Oku had left.



Rating this series anything lower than a 6, however tempting it may be, would be a disservice to what it once was: a non-apologetic, satirical gorefest. One worthy of reading for the past 4 years.

Uhh...he basically answered most of every question and filled up any plothole. Yall are taking this too damn serious.



If anything you should be taking points off because the ending was just a bit too much on the cliche side.

one of the worst ending i can remember. Such a great series at one point but the last 2.5 year were just awful....

I admit this is the greatest manga that ever created on earth (besides Berserk), yes we all know some people think this is trash but I admit this manga is quite exciting and tense in every chapter. It's rare for manga like this now or even I think this is the last manga with this theme and everything else is just imitation.



Deaths in this manga are also 5 times more than most survival action manga in general and even each chapter also has many characters who die horribly, Oku Hiroya also has no mercy on his artificial character.



And Wtf people saying this is the worst ending ever? this is even 10x times better than the Attack on Titan ending.

Anyone expected something good after everything that happened in the last couple of arcs? The author clearly had no idea what to do with the story and every chapter was just a waste of pages and tried to drag the story as much as possible.



9/10 for the 1st half of the manga, 5/10 for the 2nd half. Overall 7 but +1 for the good old times, because i love his artstyle and actually never dropped in quality .

This manga was SHIT long long time ago. I use to like up until the aliens from sky started to appear. The arcs before were great and the arc when Kei had to fight without his suit on the match (and won some awesome points) was awesome.



I first find out about this manga on Band of Hawks forum, guys who translated Bersern before and started to follow it but now I wish I skipped it.



Such a waste of time and ending is so rushed....

I'm just glad this is over. What a terrible final arc. 「タエちゃん...会いたい...」 Barf. Then they suddenly meet up on the beach. Awful. Just awful.
