Gantz Chapter 383 Discussion

What a masterpiece.



Jokes aside, it was good for like... the beginning maybe.



Honestly, I have no idea why I had to force myself to finish this but I did anyway.



Despite spending many hours reading, I literally felt nothing when it was finished.



Nonetheless, it was a little bit fun in certain chapters, so I guess it's not a complete disaster.

Even though the last chapter was bit plain....but somehow it made me feel sad T_T

To be honest, the ending was "Meh". It didn't leave me thinking and it didn't satisfy me either. I felt that the alien situation was a tad cliche and i skipped some pages because it was so boring. There weren't any badass fights from what I could see.

This ending was so reminiscent to "Independence Day".



LOL, kill the aliens, save the Earth, get back to earth from their ship before everything goes to hell.



Once you arrive to earth, be embraced by your loved ones....



I want to be fair with my final impressions of GANTZ.



There was a point when I considered this manga to be very damn good and I actually had it at a 10/10...obviously that changed drastically due to the inconsistent plot holes, abandoning sub plots for no apparent reason, and giving us a pretty crappy ending arc.



Regardless, the majority of this manga was a THRILL to read and it had many great moments.



Final Score....7/10.

Just read it today. Reminds me of the Mass Effect 3 ending. Full of plotholes, create imaginary God room (in mass effect's case, god kid) that has answers for everything and just a rushed ending. At least Mass Effect kept the tone of sacrifice. This just was the generic everyone is happy ending. Loved the manga, just not the ending. This could've been sooooo much more. Too bad the author just sort of gave up :/ I'm hoping this doesn't happen to Berserk.

I know, but i feel like there was greater emphasis on it then other manga.

Now that's just a lazy excuse not to think.

That ending was extremely mediocre...it had a good run :/
