I really didn't like the ending at all. It's a shame this last arc was so terrible. I was already doubtful when introducing that magic power and the vampire stuff, but at least I could accept those (even though they weren't developed well enough in my opinion), but god, this last arc was horrible. I would really like to give the manga a 6/10, but there have been too many moments in the earlier chapters that I really liked and I will remember for times to come, so I'll have to give it a seven.

All I say is, it cold have been much worse, and I challange you to try to come up with a "better" ending than Okus.

And this means we are not allowed to dislike the ending why exactly? This is a terrible argument. The fact that I cannot come up with a better ending is also part of the fact that I did not even come up with the story. Besides, I read it for my enjoyment, and even though you might've liked it doesn't mean I should. No offence, I don't mean to say that if I don't like it nobody should, but the argument you use to justify the ending and claim it should be liked it just bad.

Seriously WTF was that shit? Just read the raw, just WTF that ending sucked.

Worst manga ending i have ever read, i have a lot of questions, like will katou get it together with

Anzu, is the nerdy virgin still alive(i hope) or what happened with kaze and mary,? Will they get together and raise takeshi together. Please oku remake the ending, i don't care if it takes a month please remake it .

Sooo.. This entire manga was a fake scenario created by the author who imagined himself as Kei with hero complex 😂

I think it all went wrong after the introduction to goddamn vampires.. and the overwhelming plot armor where you'd just "why aren't you dead yet Kei, Katou, Tae". Otherwise this manga had an incredible start-midway, beautiful art-style (if you put aside the obvious CGI) and it had some insanely gruesome scenes which would never get approved nowadays

It's a shame the author just gave up halfway through and didn't even bother solving half of the riddles. I wonder if it was some intentional "LeT tHe rEaderS DEcide" crap or if the author realized the amount of fucking plot-introductions he made, then knew it'd be too unbearable to give any explanation

Cool manga overall, had the potential to be one of my favorite but now I hate and respect it. Imo it has the greatest character art-style out of any manga

Holy shit what a kino ending. People really don't understand what peak is even if it hit them right in the face.

The final arc in general was an awesome conclusion to the series. Kei was a fantastic protagonist and seeing him triumphant saving all of humanity was cathartic as all hell.

My gripes of the series are that I felt Izumi was wasted, as his dynamic with Kei had tremendous potential but was undercooked. The characters I also felt could have been focused on quite a bit more. The series would have been a 10/10 if I didn't have these issues.

Apart from that I really have no other complaints. Gantz is a very strong 9/10 for me.
